Nozawa Onsen, Japan
Kenashi and Karasawa Ski Lodges are located at the foot of the Karasawa Valley in the resort town of Nozawa Onsen in Japan.
Kenashi is named after Mt. Kenashi or “Kenashi Yama”, the mountain under which nestles the charming village of Nozawa Onsen. Karasawa is named after the Karasawa valley ski area which can be accessed from most parts of the mountain. Both lodges are newly renovated luxury absolute ski-in/ski-out accommodation, and are ideal for families.
Karasawa Lodge has its own café with arguably the best coffee and burgers in town! It also has a fully stocked bar. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and apres-ski drinks and canapes. Sit inside, or on the exterior deck and enjoy watching the final skiers and boarders descend, while the piste groomers ascend, right next to you. The cafe space can also be booked for private dinner parties in the evening (minimum numbers required). Enjoy your private chef experience while the lights of the ski grooming machines pass right by.
The village centre is only a 10 minute picturesque walk from the accommodation. Have an onsen at one of the many public hot spring bathhouses on your way to your favourite restaurant! Kenashi and Karasawa guests also enjoy exclusive use of the newly renovated Shiro onsen. A private onsen located in the Shiro Nozawa lodge in the village.
Our helpful team look forward to welcoming you and making your stay the most memorable you’ve ever experienced.
