Kenashi is a newly renovated luxury ski-in/ski-out lodge located on-piste at the foot of the quiet Karasawa Valley in the resort town of Nozawa Onsen in Japan. Ideal for families. No roads to cross, no footpaths to walk, no trails to navigate. Just wake up, step outside, click in and slide to a chairlift. Likewise, at the end of a ‘hard day’s ski’ on the slopes, slide to a stop right at your front door, literally!
The lodge is named after Mt. Kenashi or “Kenashi Yama”, the mountain under which nestles the charming village of Nozawa Onsen. The village center is only a 10–15 minute walk from Kenashi through picturesque streets. Have an onsen at one of the many public hot spring bathhouses on your way to your favourite restaurant!
